Welcome to headway

Headway is designed for counselors and helping professionals who want to address burnout/stress and focus on their wellbeing. This resource focuses strongly on mindfulness-based content due to the emerging evidence of the positive effects that mindfulness and meditation can have on various dimensions of wellness, particularly stress and burnout. Headway is set up in a course-like format and is divided into two parts: education and training. The Mindfulness Education course introduces the concept of mindfulness, including the origins, effects, and practices. The Mindfulness Training course showcases many resources that can be used to help guide one in incorporating mindfulness and meditation practices.
